“The Lago del Rey Summer Aquafest has become a much-anticipated summer event among our celebrity and media friends, so this year we have made it even more fun, bold, and daring with the lineup of exciting land and water-based competitions. Of course, all these were enjoyed by our guests at the breathtaking Lago del Rey, which is fast-becoming another watersports haven among local and foreign watersports enthusiasts,” said Camarines Sur Gov. LRay Villafuerte.

Lago del Rey is an 18-hectare manmade lake right across the road from the fabulous wakeboard cable lake of the CWC cable park, now known all over the world for offering the best water-based entertainment facilities in Asia. Lago del Rey was conceptualized to be more fun and family-friendly, to balance the cable park’s extreme sports forte. Among the wholesome family watersports entertainment that can be enjoyed here are giant water slides, aqua wall climbing, water polo, water volleyball, kayaking, among others.
So in line with Gov. Villafuerte’s vision of making CamSur the mecca of sports tourists, the Lago del Rey Summer Aquafest featured fun games for celebrity players: Survivor Games, featuring land-based physical competitions; and Water Games, which showcased celebrity players’ stamina and endurance on watersports using inflatables.
After the tiring yet exciting land and water competitions, guests were treated to relaxing chill-out parties held at Lago del Rey’s Villa Poolside. Entertainment was provided by Hale, Robin Nievera, and Encore DJs Jon Herrera and Mars Miranda.
Among the female celebrities who took time out to enjoy a weekend of water fun at Lago del Rey were Precious Lara Quigaman, Michelle Madrigal, Dyan Castillejo, Ginger Conejero, Isabelle Daza, LJ Moreno, Reema Chanco, Carla Humphries, Rochelle Barrameda, Justine Ferrer, Rich Asuncion, and Alicia Mayer.
Also making a splash at the games were celebrity hunks Marc Nelson, Paolo Paraiso, Marco Alcaraz, Jeremy Marquez, JM Rodriguez, Jimwell Stevens, Bobby Yan, Jon Hall, Antonio Aquitania, Ernie Lopez, and VJ Alvin Pulga.
