Sam rose to fame via the phenomenal reality show Pinoy Big Brother. He then persistently worked his way to stardom by proving his acting prowess in ABS-CBN primetime hits Maging Sino Ka Man, Dyosa and Only You, serenading everyone with his successful albums, and performing amazing numbers as a regular of ASAP XV.

Aside from being a dedicated entertainer, which has earned him several awards, he is an ambassador for World Vision, an organization dedicated in responding to the causes of poverty and injustice, and a spokesperson for the Department of Education, promoting the importance of education and campaigning against vices and violence.
Helping Sam perform these varied roles with utmost confidence is Perfect Man Urban that comes in forms of Body Spray, Body Mist, Body Splash, and Roll-On Anti-Perspirant Deodorant.

Hosted by Randy Santiago, the star-studded event featured first-rate performances of some of the country’s top entertainers such as Karylle, Duncan Ramos, Kaye Brosas and La Diva’s Jonalyn Viray, Aicelle Santos and Maricris Garcia.
Making the atmosphere more vibrant were Bea Alonzo, the face of Tupperware Brands’ premier cosmetics line Colour Collection; celebrity heartthrob Sam Milby and leading actress Maja Salvador who came to represent their Tupperware’s line of fragrances. Multi-talented actress and image model of Fuller Fashion, Isabel Oli put life on the fashion show that also showcased other brands like Hanes, Wonder Bra and Playtex.
Comedienne Candy Pangilinan performed an interesting demo for Tupperware products. And to fortify that Tupperware Brands is indeed the leading direct selling company especially for kid’s clothes and accessories, celebrity mom Bernadette Allyson presented the newest kids’ selection as worn by her kids.
But the most important highlight of the annual event, with the theme “Beautiful Beginnings,” was the recognition ceremony of the company’s top dealers and performing entrepreneurs for 2009, which included the Roster of Millionaires, Leadership Awardees and Branch of the Year. Exciting innovations and developments for the upcoming year were also announced during the event.
“We are excited with the new endeavors and opportunities in store for our customers and for our people so that they can ultimately improve their lives. This year, we would like to strengthen our position as a company that boasts not only of top world-class brands but also of highly skilled direct sellers,” said Perry Mogar, president of Tupperware Brands Philippines.
The Tupperware Brands Philippines annual gathering was indeed a colorful celebration that welcomes a beautiful beginning for the company.
The Philippines with its remarkable 7,107 islands, numerous land formations and bodies of water makes it suitable for sports adventures like biking.
In the recent Bike Festival Asia, over 100 cyclists traversed the mountainous slopes, wide rice fields and vast shorelines of Nasugbu, Batangas, one of the country’s most popular tourist destinations.
Road bikers followed the 75km trek starting from Terrazas de Punta Fuego, passing through Matabungcay Beach Resorts, Calatagan, round the Lemery Batangas terminus, and back to Terrazas. Meanwhile, mountain bikers took an exhilarating 35km rough off-trail road before finishing on the same venue.
The bike fun run, presented by Leading Events Network Plus, Inc (L.E.N. Plus, Inc) and supported by the Department of Tourism (DOT) and Tourism Infrastructure and Enterprise Zone Authority (TIEZA), utilized biking in promoting Philippines as a tourist destination.
More than the recreational and health benefits brought by the sport, the scenic landscapes and seaside view made the biking experience more memorable and noteworthy. TIEZA General Manager and CEO Mark Lapid explained, “Biking is just the vehicle used to maximize the tour, to show off the beautiful place.”
The event’s goal was to recommend different areas and tourist destinations that are not very popular and to make the country’s tourism highly-competitive. During this event, for instance, the bikers discovered the virgin beaches and fields that are only familiar to the Batangueños.
“We should also target local tourists because many Filipinos have not fully explored the rest of our country’s exquisite islands. They bounded their quest only to the talked-about destinations like Boracay, when in fact there are other wonderful places like Paoay and Palawan,” said Lapid.
With this in mind, the success of the second Bike Festival Asia, gives L.E.N. Plus, Inc more optimism that in the future, they could bring the event in other parts of the country like Visayas and Mindanao.
Marilen Nuñez president of L.E.N. Plus, Inc. added, “We are also looking at inviting foreign riders to join in the succeeding events as we plan to make the event bigger as we progress to promote tourism also in these parts of the Philippines. We want to communicate that the Philippines is a safe, enjoyable and truly beautiful destination.”
